For me, the pre-wash step is honestly

the most important part of the entire wash process.

It softens the dirt stuck on the car’s surface

and minimizes the chance of creating scratches during the main contact wash.

Depending on how dirty the car is, you can dilute Mystic Zurich…

but personally, I prefer using it straight, undiluted.

It comes in a full 1-liter bottle anyway,

so even if you spray generously, it never feels wasteful.

Even at full strength, it’s a pH-neutral prewash,

so as long as you don’t leave it sitting forever,

it’s totally safe on the paint

and the cleaning power is much stronger this way.

I like removing as much contamination as possible

before touching the paint with a mitt.

My usual routine is letting it dwell for 3–5 minutes.

I avoid using it under direct sunlight,

but if I have no choice, I’ll re-spray Mystic Zurich every 1–2 minutes

to prevent the product from drying and re-bonding the dirt to the surface.

That little trick makes a big difference.
