Refund policy

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to both online product purchases and mobile detailing services provided by Glow My Car.

1. Products (Online Store)

Change of Mind

  • We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind
  • Please choose carefully before purchasing

Faulty or Damaged Products

If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

In such cases:

  • Please contact us within a reasonable timeframe
  • Provide your order number and photos if applicable
  • We may offer a replacement, repair, or refund depending on the issue

Return Conditions

  • Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
  • Returns without prior approval may not be accepted

2. Shipping Errors

If you receive the wrong product or an incorrect order:

  • Please notify us as soon as possible
  • We will arrange replacement or correction at no additional cost

3. Mobile Detailing Services

Service Satisfaction

We take pride in our work and aim to deliver high-quality detailing services.

However:

  • Results may vary depending on vehicle condition, age, and prior damage
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing wear, stains, scratches, or defects

Refunds for Services

  • Once a service has been completed, refunds are generally not provided
  • If you have concerns, please raise them on the day of service so we can address them immediately

4. Cancellations & No-Shows (Services)

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee
  • Weather-related rescheduling will be handled reasonably

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider
